Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo, Casa Noble founder and maestro tequilero, invites you to experience Selección del Fundador Volume II—an extra añejo tequila triple distilled from estate-grown, 100% Blue Weber Agave planted in 1997 to commemorate the founding of Casa Noble. To perfectly develop its complex, elegant character, this tequila was aged for eight years in new Taransaud 114-liter French white oak barrels.

With only 300 bottles available in the world, Casa Noble Selección del Fundador Volume II celebrates Casa Noble’s history, the always forward-looking vision of our founder and maestro tequilero, Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo, as well as his creativity and expertise.
The agave for this tequila was planted in 1997, the same year that Casa Noble was established. After 12 years of careful nurture in the high-altitude volcanic soil of Jalisco, fully mature agave was hand-selected and harvested. Each piña was slowly cooked in traditional stone ovens before our proprietary system gently extracted their juice while leaving the flesh and fibers behind. This fresh agave juice was fermented for at least three days, using only the yeast that naturally exists in our distillery, before being distilled three times for the utmost purity of flavor.
This extraordinary tequila was aged in new Taransaud 114-liter French white oak barrels. Established in 1672, Taransaud is renowned as one of the world’s premier cooperages. Their coopers work in close union between wood and spirit, with patience, rigor, consistency, and respect as the hallmarks of their craft. The Taransaud 114-liter barrel, the premier choice of Grand Cru winemakers, is nearly as rare as the tequila inside. Made from oak sourced in the Tronçias Forest in France’s Allier region, the tight pores and light toast of these barrels imbue the tequila with beautifully rich, spicy aromas.
Full of character and elegant complexity. The barrels impart a rich amber color with a savory and silky mouthfeel. Intricate aromas of cooked agave layered with chocolate, butter, and vanilla give way to subtle notes of dried fruit, sweet flowers, and cinnamon to enhance a luxury experience like no other.
Most tequila is distilled twice. But craving a higher-quality, superior tequila, we became one of the first to distill tequila three times. Achieving the purest tequila we ever tasted, plus the characteristics and aromatic essence that are uniquely Casa Noble.
Long before becoming one of the first certified organic tequilas, our devotion to preserving the land was present in everything we do. From establishing agave fields on a high altitude estate, to making our own compost, we continue giving back to nature because of everything it’s given us.
